I ordered the spices salmon roll which was pretty good. The service was a little sub par only because the attendant didn't speak English that well but she was nice. After a few attempts she finally understood that I was ordering more than one dish ( to go order) As far as the ambiance, It's pretty plain. I mean I would not want my date to take me here. It's more like a cafeteria than anything else. The dining furniture appeared really worn and old but usable and clean. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch break or a bite to go for dinner.

Husbands go to place for fast and fresh sushi. Hibachi is good as well. Haven't tried much else. Good size portions. Always have enough for next days lunch.
Nice restaurant with pretty good food..they give you a ton of rice and vegetables..I usually order the teriyaki chicken and shrimp..you get five of the medium large shrimp. I don't care for the carrots too much so I usually ask them to leave them out..the average meal is around $8-$12..and you will have enough for at least two meals..

Pleasantly surprised! My co-workers and I stopped by Highway 55 the previous day, but after having extremely slow service and lukewarm food, we decided to give Japan a chance. The restaurant is clean and very modern. There are LCD screens through the restaurant. The staff is friendly and inviting. I tried the seaweed salad, miso soup, and edemame. They were all excellent. The seaweed salad may have been the best seaweed salad I've ever had. My coworkers tried the hibachi, the shrimp, and several sushi choices. They were all pleased with all of the food. We will definitely be coming back soon.
Awwwwsome!!!! i had some steak noodles and my partner had chicken noodles! Both were so darnnn good! Cheap for lunch! DEFINITELY will come back!!!
